Fundraiser benefitting The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation
Posted by: admin / Category: Events, FundraisingOn Thursday, April 21, Lexus of North Miami hosted Backpack to the Future – a VIP kick-off reception and backpack collection fundraiser benefitting The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation. CBS 4 reporter Nicole Maristany emceed the event, which featured a special reading for children by former Miami Dolphin Twan Russell and Martine Zinn to celebrate the importance of educating and our youth. The reception was held as a kick-off to the backpack and school supply collection currently underway at all Craig Zinn Automotive Group dealerships, and guests were encouraged to bring a new book bag or school supply item to benefit The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation.
MADD (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving) and Lexus of North Miami held a press conference on Thursday, April 21st. The PowerTalk 21: A National Day to Start Talking about Alcohol. It’s all about saving our children and helping them reach their potential!
